To help minimize service and supply disruptions of 3M™ Glass Cloth Tapes 361 and 3M™ Glass Cloth Tapes 361L (“Product”), 3M has qualified additional sources of supply for the glass cloth and glass cloth fibers used in the Product. 3M will begin utilizing these additional sources effective immediately.
The Product will continue to be made to the same manufacturing specifications, except the newly qualified glass cloth and glass cloth fibers might be sourced from outside the United States. We are confident the newly qualified glass cloth and glass cloth fibers should not affect the form, fit or function of these Products.
3M™ Glass Cloth Tape 398FR, 3M™ Glass Cloth Tapes 398FRP, and 3M™ Glass Cloth Tapes 399FR are not impacted by this change.
