Uniclamp developed the Shim / Spacer, as a result of the inconsistent strut quality in select markets such as South Africa. The shim, manufactured from 100% Nylon 6, is flexible enough to accommodate various inconsistencies in the lip height of strut channel, ensuring a Uniclamp fit in strut channel that is incredibly snug - thus ideal in seismic conditions or applications where the strut is installed vertically.
